Eaton's power capacitor workshop offers practical applications for engineers using capacitors for voltage support, power factor correction and harmonics filtering. This training is not associated with Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
• Students will receive a PDF note version of the presentation materials.
• This workshop is designed for electrical power engineers or similarly experienced professionals who are involved in applying capacitors in T&D systems including substations, distribution lines and transmission systems, and have a practical background in capacitor application.
• Early registration is encouraged, as some workshops sell out. Eaton reserves the right to cancel seven days prior to the starting date, in which case a full refund will be given. Registrants may cancel up to seven days before the workshop to receive a full refund. Other costs incurred due to a cancellation are the responsibility of the registrant. Substitutions can be made at any time at no extra cost.
• The workshop is conducted in a ten-day series of interactive lectures, demonstrations and problem-solving sessions.
• Voltage support and power factor theories are exercised throughout the sessions. Participants should bring a calculator.
• Questions and comments are encouraged at all times.
